Well – things have been looking up a bit lately. A very bouncy trip in the second half of the race won us the Beadle’s Cup from Burnham to Ramsgate, with some boats having 45 knot gusts across the deck. Glorious sunny day with about 15 knots initially with guest crew Trevor Southey and Richard Kiernan on board, ending up shipping it green for about 4 hours. Nasty fetch/beat having gone round North Foreland – wet and horrible. But worth it in the end. First overall.
